Warren County experienced a tremendous spike in unintentional overdoses and overdose deaths from 2013 to 2017. The vast majority of those were opiate related involving pharmaceuticals, and oftentimes heroin and fentanyl. We experienced significant decreases in unintentional overdose deaths in 2018 with that trend continuing in 2019. Although overdoses and overdose deaths are still occurring these numbers have improved over the last several years.

The Warren County Drug Task Force will continue to aggressively pursue drug trafficking offenders and sources of supply impacting our community. Our unwavering support of education and prevention as well as treatment options for our addicted population will continue.
